French singer/ lyricist and composer, duets with the Greek born singing sensation, Nana Mouskouri, in a song titled, To Die Of Love, from Aznavours recent release called Duos, where he duets with some of the world's best vocalist. Just two years ago, I attended his farewell tour concert in Los Angeles. The legendary singer, composer, lyricist, actor and dancer, recorded the duet album during his retirement to leave his finishing touches on a truly artistic career. The original version of To Die Of Love was written and performed in French by Mr. Aznavour (Mourir D'Aimer). He has also recoded beautiful renditions of this melody in Italian, Spanish and German.
This world of ours does not grow younger, some die of illness, some of hunger, I stand before eternity, to die of love....
